Why Healthy brownies?


Do you want to eat sweet chocolatey goodness but not feel guilty after?


Do you want a chocolate brownie that is not only good for you but actually tastes delicious?

Do you work out hard in the gym and want a tasty treat that will support your training and nutrition goals?

I am assuming most people will answer YES to these questions! This is where my healthy brownies come into play.

I am obsessed with all things chocolate. Brownies being my number one choice whenever I feel the desire for chocolate, which let's face it, is pretty much all the time!l If I could eat them all day, every day, it would make me very happy!

I don't think I'm alone when I admit that I have regular conversations with myself about whether or not I should eat that delicious brownie(s), I mean, come on, it's literally calling my name!

I train hard in the gym and try to be as active as possible every day but this doesn't stop me from wanting to eat my own body weight in chocolate! It was a daily struggle for me because more often than not, I would eat my body weight in chocolate and then feel bad about it! (sound familiar...?!).

So this is when I started to research healthy chocolate brownies so that I could feed my chocolate addiction but still keep on track with my healthy lifestyle efforts.

After numerous recipe attempts and a bit of tweaking here and there, I have finally mastered some recipes that taste great. Now I can get my chocolate brownie fix every day and feel good about it!

My Saint range consists of 4 different flavors:

(By the way, I am pretty sure that I won't be able to resist not making any more new healthy flavors and then adding them to my collection - so watch this space!).

Date Night is made with almonds, walnuts, dates, pure cocoa, vegan chocolate and of course love! It is gluten-free, vegan and paleo friendly and totally refined sugar-free. This healthy brownie is packed full of vitamin B-2, protein, fiber & healthy fats. This is perfect to eat any time of the day or night.

An Avocado Adventure These babies are made using the genius food that is avocado instead of any oils or butter! They are made using whole grain flour and maple syrup and the tiniest amount of raw cane sugar. They taste amazing and contain so many health benefits from the avocado that it almost cancels out the triple chocolate chips that are hiding up in there...


World Peace is awesome! (hate to pick a favourite, but I think I just have...). Extremely chocolatey, gluten-free, refined sugar-free and vegan-friendly! Made with 100% natural ingredients including flax seed and coconut sugar, this brownie is not just kind to you, but also kind to our friends from the animal kingdom and it tastes so good! It gets its main sweetness from maple syrup and this seriously does not taste like a healthy brownie! Great to have after the gym or curled up on the sofa enjoying some 'you' time.

Eat Your Greens is a fantastic way to sneak more green veggies into your diet! Vegetables hid in chocolate... really? Yes really! You honestly cannot taste the courgette that is in this brownie. Eat your greens is made without using any butter or vegetable oil! It is made using wholemeal flour and sweetened with a tiny bit of raw cane sugar. The texture is super soft, moist and sticky. It is chocolatey but somehow almost light at the same time, like you feel all smug eating it because you know you're sneaking some veggies into your dessert!... definitely worth one of your 5 a day!

So to answer the title of my blog, 'Why Healthy Brownies?'... because my dear readers, I can't go a day without a chocolate fix, but at the same time I want to feed my body with good stuff so that I feel good! They say you are what you eat (I am going to wake up one day looking like a brownie!)

The answer for me is my healthy chocolate brownies! Is it the answer for you too?
